Response to Benito Mussilini, and the raid of Pearl Harbor

This is not right, what you said. First, Italy is not as strong as most other countries in this war right now. Second, what Japan did was wrong, they should not have bombed Pearl Harbor, for they did kill 2500 soldiers, how many civillians do you suppose that they killed, 700, 800 maybe. It was a very good millitary excercise, but it killed many civillians. Put yourself in the shoes of say, a machinist's mate on one of those ships. You wouldnt be ready for war, and you are sleeping. That person dosent even have a chance. It is not fair. I hope that Italy dosent turn into a Japan, killing civillians, and calling it good, and honorable. I think that Japan has now just dragged one of the world's biggest powers into the war, and if Japan has become allies with you, you will be fighting america, one of the largest countries in the world. If someone might have thought "maybe this isnt a good idea", many lives, and families that have been mourning would be saved. America wanted to stay out of the war, not get dragged into it. Imagine what the world would be like if people would just take some time to think about what they are doing,
Winston S. Churchill
Prime Minister
