Sorry I haven't been able to keep up on the posting this week (sometimes the war and being near death really gets in the way).
Daily Mirror, I agree with you in the sense that FDR has not done the job he needs to do for America. He was slow to interact with Japan in Nanking and he was extremely humble with his neutrality from the war. Although I don't like his tactics, I strongly think that he should do the same thing for the rest of the time he is in office (democracy). He really helped us with his neutrality by not interfering with Germany's plan to conquer Europe. This feat could not have been accomplished without FDR's help of doing nothing, so THANKS FDR.
I would also like to comment on Editorial #5.
YES, you are exactly right in saying that the Soviets will crumble from our attack. Hitler was so upset from the defeat from the Royal Air Force against our own German pilots (though I do say we did pretty well in making a "mark" on their land) that Hitler decided quite suddenly to take action against Stalin. This was a very smart move on Hitler's part because we all knew that Josef's people would not fight (or at least not truly fight) for their country. (That is the problem with oppressing your people a lot: they will turn on you). Even though we have a ways to go in order to take the Soviets, I believe its "a piece of cake", so to speak.
