To Franklin D. Roosevelt

The world is at war. I have been hoping this day would not come, but I think we all knew it would. This event could destroy our world as we know it. The tragic attack on Pearl Harbor, Sunday, December 7th, was unexpected and meaningless. Japan has made a huge mistake. The United States of America needs to be defended. Dear Mr.President, my colleagues and I have been working hard to find some protection. With the use of the element Uranium, we may be able to create a powerful bomb. The destruction from this bomb would be devastating but, frankly we need the destruction it can provide, in our possesion. We know if we do this, it would destroy our enemy once and for all. But with this power may come many other things. We need to use all the help we can get defending our country. Please Mr.President we need this protection. I know that this decision will be challenging, but it is something that you need to take into consideration. For the sake of our country and our people, do what is just.
                                                                                                                              Yours Truly,
                                                                                                                                      Albert Einstein ;P
