Imperialism and Nationalism

Rommel, I agree to disasgree.  You said, "Mostly, as I see it, It is of love of country."  Love of one's country can become nationalism.  He is firing up the Germans' spirits.  They are becoming Nationalistic, and Nationalism can be extremely dangerous.  You saw what it did in the Great War!  When we are proud, we become more powerful and confident in what we do.  Hitler is encouraging it, too.  He is imperialistic, he is hungry for land.  That's never good.  Napolean was hungry for land, and look at what he did!  Alexander the Great was hungry for land, also, and conquered almost all of Eurasia. He was loved by his army for treating them as equals.  Caesar was land-hungry also.  He loved his people and his people loved him, and he took over Germany and many other places.  They caused so much damage and took so much land.  Yet they all fell.  Be warned.  We must not let him rise to power!
